Test Trials and Analysis of Pod-Shattering Characteristics of Harvested Rapeseed Silique

In order to reduce the silique shattering loss of rapeseed mechanical harvesting process, based on state force during reel branch stage, Ningza 1810, Zhenyou 8, and Fengyou 306 were used as research objects, experimental factors affecting was carried out using swing impact method. The analysis showed that varieties, moisture content, growth position, collision material, speed, other had significant effects shattering. velocity less than 1.5 m·s−1, difference in effect each factor pod not significant, it easy shatter when content higher. resistance front side two four times bonding surface petals, rate top twice bottom siliques, siliques supported, they more likely under external forces unsupported. study properties impending fracture method; analyses support position silique, loading a silique. maximum cracking higher bending strength stronger body supported; range 3.05 N 4.16 N, 8.48 MPa 11.57 MPa. petal pressurized pressurized. Based Pearson’s correlation grey analysis, morphological characteristics ranked their influence performance terms angle between stalk, stalk diameter, thickness, beak length, width, length. This can be reference for design optimization mechanism selection machine-harvestable varieties.
